8380 Labs pay tribute to the Audi Pikes Peak Legend.

Another fantastic 8380 Labs design depicting one of the Pikes Peak Champions.

In 1987 world-renowned racing driver Walter Röhrl piloted an Audi Quattro Sport S1 E2 to the summit of Pike’s Peak in Colorado USA.

This in itself was nothing new, and had been done many times before. However on this occasion, Röhrl set a new course record for the 14.42 mile gravel road track. He completed the climb in 10mins 47secs, and was the first to break the 11 minute barrier.

All assisted by the 600bhp Audi Quattro with significant downforce aids.
